For the Love of the Game

Hi, I’m Katarina Yates, founder of Love All Tennis – Grafton. I started this program to bring local youth tennis opportunities to families right here in the Grafton community. My goal is to create a fun, welcoming environment where kids can stay active, build confidence, and fall in love with the game of tennis.

I have been coaching youth tennis since 2021, starting at Lorain County Community College (LCCC), and I’ve loved teaching the game ever since. Since then, I’ve coached through several programs across Northeast Ohio, including Elyria Parks & Recreation Tennis, where I’ve worked with players of all ages and skill levels.

I am currently a student-athlete at Tiffin University, where I compete as a collegiate tennis player at the Division II level.

Before attending Tiffin, I played locally at Midview High School, where my tennis journey began. During my high school career, I earned the most career wins in program history, became the school’s first SWC Champion, first district qualifier, and completed an undefeated regular season during my senior year, along with several other accomplishments.

Through coaching across Northeast Ohio, I realized that Grafton lacked local opportunities for young kids to get involved in tennis close to home. That’s what inspired me to start Love All Tennis – Grafton.
